Rolex Cellini Moonphase In Everose Gold Replica Watch
At BaselWorld 2017, Rolex introduced the latest creations in the Oyster and Cellini collections. Some time ago, I wrote about the new Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with Oysterflex strap, and about the 50th anniversary edition of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller with a new, larger 43mm case and Rolex’s new caliber 3235. Today we’ll take a closer look at an entirely new model in the Cellini collection, the Cellini Moonphase.
The Rolex Cellini Moonphase replica watch features an exclusive display of the lunar cycle. This 39mm-diameter watch makes its worldwide debut in 18-karat Everose gold, paired with a white lacquer dial. This is also the first Cellini model ever to be held on a brown alligator leather strap with a folding Crownclasp in 18 ct Everose gold.
A blue enameled disc at 6 o’clock is a miniature representation of the nocturnal sky, showing the full moon and the new moon. The full moon is made from a fragment of a real meteorite, while the new moon is represented by a silver ring. The phase of the moon is read via the indicator set at 12 o’clock on the subdial, as the full moon and new moon rotate through the lunar cycle. This astronomical watch also informs the wearer about the current date, using the date track around the circumference of the dial and a blue center hand tipped with a crescent moon.
Like all Rolex watches, the Cellini Moonphase is covered by Rolex’s own Superlative Chronometer certification, which guarantees excellent performance, power reserve, waterproofness, and self-winding. The watch is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement entirely manufactured by Rolex. Its patented Moonphase module is astronomically accurate for 122 years. The 31-jewel movement is fitted with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Rolex overcoil, and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers. It beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers around 48 hours of power reserve.
